New Business:

Disciplinary Review:

Heatherley vs. Goetz - There was an issue that started from a scrimmage between the two teams a few days before. The teams then played each other on Saturday, and Coach Heatherley gave his kids the suggestion of “bumping into the other team’s player” after several ignored obstruction requests. This led to a heated exchange of words between Coach Goetz and 1st base Coach Hollinger. Coach Hollinger and Coach Goetz were ejected. An umpires report was given by Glen who was the umpire at the game on Saturday.

Heatherley - no additional punishment as he was not ejected

Hollinger - 1 game suspension
Goetz - 2 total games, 2 times in the concession stands, and Diamond Leader Training, add an additional Child Abuse Training; this must be completed before returning to baseball. He will need to provide a certificate from both training and verification from Shane that he volunteered in the concession stand. He can begane volunteering on Tuesday. He can be back coaching by Wednesday if all completed.

Motion to approve by Colin Castle, second by Sim Zugar, unanimously approved.

Fall Fest:

We are in contact with FEAST and plan to get a box for donations

After these dates, we can have open scrimmages. All players that have played before and are signed up are covered by our insurance and can play.
Opening Ceremonies: February 22, 2025

T-Ball - $75
AA and below - $200
AAA and up - $250

There will be a sibling discount of $20

Volunteer fee: Charge a volunteer fee that can be refunded with proof of volunteering in the concession stand. We are considering a $30 fee built into the total cost bringing each of the above costs to $30 higher. Once you volunteer, you will get a discount code for the next season to receive that $30 back. We need language in our email stating that this will be a one time discount code. We need verbiage stating where the money is going so that there is transparency. We need to give objective information on how to qualify for the $30 discount code such as hours needed.

Address tip situation in concession stand. We would like to add a sign letting customers know that the tip goes directly to the league.

Potential AA Tournament next season with other leagues
