2019 PHLL All Star Selection Process Underway

The teams are selected by the rostered players and managers/coaches in the respective divisions by vote on a ballot that a league official not associated with the division will provide and collect the week of April 29th.  The votes are then tabulated by the AllStar Committee with the top 10 voted players making the team and the selected Manager for the team requesting the remaining players (usually position players i.e. another Pitcher or catcher) to fill the team with board approval. LLBB requires a minimum team roster of 12 with a maximum of 15 for these divisions. Teams will then be formed based upon Player eligibility and availability for the tournament. Eligibility means a player legally residing with proof within PHLL boundary's and participating in the required amount of games. Availability means the player will be present beginning on announcement day until the team is eliminated from play. AAA divisions for both baseball and softball can advance to State of Florida Tournament which is held the 2nd or 3rd week of July and Majors division baseball and softball along with Juniors division baseball can advance to a World Series in August.

Please click on 2019 AllStar Letter with player participation form to be completed either YES or NO, and returned to your respective team manager by Saturday April 27, 2019. The Participation Forms are used by the AllStar Committee to determine what teams PHLL can form, and in what divisions based upon the number of players available in the respective age groups. The Participation Form is a very important step in this process and affects more than just your player.

Example: If a player is within the top 10 votes and is unable to participate due to a planned vacation etc. , it then moves all other players up. 

Regardless of participation All players will participate in the voting process.
